Today is a sad day as we put Brother Perry to rest. My heart is full of sadness for I really enjoyed Perry for his teaching abilities, his sense of humor and his being a friend. Things will never be the same without Perry showing his smirk but knowing that he really cared about everyone he touched. May god treat you well and give you plenty of birdies. My heart felt prayers to the Aposolou Family.

My fondest memory of Perry was the 1st time i tillered for him.i was a probie and was intimidated just walking into 9th & marion on the " C " , not to mention having to tiller for Perry.while at " breakfast " i asked him for any tips he might have for me since i was new and never really tillered before.he looked at me and GROWLED " just shut up and hold the wheel straight , i'll do the rest kid " .i guess he could tell i was a bit nervous so after a minute or so he gave me that little grin and a wink .nobody drove that rig better and nobody ever will.My thoughts and prayers go out to the Apostolou family and also to his extended family in the fire department . If God ever wants the fires in hell put out , there's no doubt Perry will be driving the 1st due ladder truck.Rest in Peace Brother & save me a spot with your foursome in heaven .
