To Dave's wife, children, family and friends: First I am truely sorry that I could not attend any of the services for Dave. He was truely a one of a kind person who sincerely enjoyed his job and helping others! Dave was one to never complain much and always did his job, smiled, and tried to make others happy. He is a man who can never be replaced or have his shoes filled. May God bless you all, and take care.

Not only was David a great firefighter and a great friend, but he was also a great Uncle. He always had a place in his heart for me and i will greatly miss him. Love u always.

I met Dave when I was a Jr. F/F in Kenhost and he was a F/F in Mohnton. He would always take time out for us and help us learn. He was a great person and a terrific firefighter. My condolences to Ann and the kids, Dave will be missed

Dave and I had our interviews on the same day . I thought what kind of guy would show up to a firefighter interview with a full beard. That guy turned out to be one of the best people I ever knew. Every time I saw Dave he had a smile on his face and never a bad word to say about anyone. It's sad and hard to picture this world without Dave.

To Ann, Katie, and Duey, Lori and I offer our hearts and our shoulders.
