The department will be beginning NFPA 1006 Training For Technical Rescue. The course starts in November and finishes in March.

Dispatcher Wertz dropped Box 28 for multiple calls received for a building at 341 south 8th street. The assignment arrived almost simultaneously to find a 3 story MD with store-front, fire showing from the sides of steel roll-down doors. Crews from the Rescue & Tower began cutting the door & locks to gain entry into the property, while a line was readied from Engine 1. 
Companies found a 1 story middle of the row garage, with heavy fire showing threatening multiple exposures.
