Engine 11 was tapped out shortly after 2030 hrs on Wednesday evening for a report of a truck on fire in a lot behind 5 Star trucking. Communications began to receive multiple call reporting multiple large trucks on fire. Engine 11 arrived and confirmed a large fire involving several trucks. Car 9 arrived and directed a line to cool a "bobtail" fuel oil truck which was directly involved, Engine 9 and Ladder 3 were requested 9 minutes into the incident. Engine 9 "caught the plug" at 5th and Richmond sreets and supplied engine 11. Upon the extra personnels arrival, a second and third line were stretched to attack the main body of fire. Engine 3 was also special called for assistance 15 minutes into the fire. 4 trucks were involved, the fire marshal is investigating.
