Two paramedics, who previously came upon a shooting scene moments after the occurrence, were once again involved in a incident involving violence, but this time the back of the ambulance was the setting. The crew picked up a patient from the Southern Middle School auditorium late this morning. On the way to the hospital, the patient, a female, became violent and assaulted one of the paramedics. The paramedic took several blows to the face and was treated at Reading hospital along with the patient. The woman was later was arraigned on charges of aggravated and simple assault and committed to prison.
