Early Morning Bedroom Fire Print E-mail
Written by FF M. Planer
Monday, 07 January 2008

Box 242 was dispatched just before 06:30 this morning for a fire in the 300 block of Orange Street. Engine 13 arrived and discovered fire blowing out the two 2nd floor windows in the front of the structure at 332 Orange, an end of row. An attack line was advanced into the building and the fire was hit directly.

While fighting the fire, one firefighter fell partially through a floor, he was not injured. There were no immediate details on damage and the fire marshal's office is investigating the cause. Units were on the scene for just over an hour.
