Box 252 was struck this morning around 0430 for a fire in the rear of 34 south 11th street. With companies beginning to surround the block, a man was found pointing into Maple street just west of 11th. Crews found a 10 bay garage with fire showing from several bays. Engine 1 stretched in from Cherry St, along with Engine 13 stretching a 2 1/2” line to supply a step-gun. Multiple saws were operating, at the height of the fire with lines in use on all sides.  The bulk of the fire was controlled in 20 minutes, with the final crews leaving about 2 hours after. The fire marshal’s office is investigating.

Companies On The Box:

Engines – 1, 13, 3, 5

Ladders – Tower, 1
