Reading PA Fire Department

Box 24 was tapped right after 8 this evening for a garage fire in the rear of the 200 block of south 10th street. Engine 13 observed smoke in the sky shortly after leaving their new quarters in center city. Upon arrival a 2 1/2" was stretched into a rear alley behind 13's previous station. A small garage to the rear of 221 south 10th street  was found to be fully involved directly across from a 2 story warehouse. The fire was quickly controlled, after a water supply was established. The garage was the site of a previous fire 2 years prior. Companies finished the job using "class A" foam. The Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
