With several companies out for a hose test in the north east, communications dropped box #63 for the area of10th & Douglass around 0943. Dispatch advised Car 7 of multiple calls being received for a working fire in the 700 block of north 10th street.

Engine 1 arriving first, assumed first due and made a stretch into the second floor of a dwelling at 747. Companies encountered a heavy volume of fire on the second floor with extension into the 3rd floor.

A second line was stretched while the ladder company headed for the roof. Command asked for a 2nd ladder company to assist in roof operations, to which communications sent Snorkel 1. The fire was placed under control within 30 minutes. The FM's office is investigating.

Companies on the Box:

Engines - 9, 1, 11, 3

Ladders - 3, S-1 (T-1)

Rescue 1, M601, Car's 7 & 23
