440minor-02.jpgShortly after placing a fire under control at 513 So. 17th Street, Car 5 was advised by Communications that they were receiving multiple calls for another structure.

Box 134 was tapped out at 0350 for 440 Minor Street with a loom up. Ladder 1 arrived to find a 2 1/2 story end of row with heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor front.

A line was stretched from Engine 3 and a quick attack was made on the fire. Command placed the incident under control within 30 minutes with overhaul. Car 24 was called in to investigate as Car 10 was investigating S. 17th Street.

Exposure B was a vacant lot which was the site of a tragic fire in the '60s where 7 members of the Millisock Family perished.

Apparatus on Box 134 were E3-E14-E11-L1-L3-R1-M603-C7-E9 Safety
