The Funeral arrangements for Reading Police Officer Anthony Miccicke, Sr., are as follows:

•  Viewing on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 – from 18:00 – 21:00 hours at the Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Avenue . (Anyone wishing to enter as part of a group of firefighters should report to Firefighter Keith Eschleman by 19:00 hours in Class A uniforms, with gloves and black mourning badge cover).

•  2nd Viewing on Wednesday, October 8 – from 09:00 – 11:00 hours at the Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Avenue. (Anyone wishing to enter as part of a group of firefighters should report to Firefighter Keith Eschleman by 10:00 hours in Class A uniforms, with gloves and black mourning badge cover).

•  Brief religious service in the Lutz Funeral Home at 11:00 hours, following this viewing.

•  Funeral procession to Gethsemane Cemetery , 3100 Kutztown Road . A ladder arch will be formed at the second entrance to the cemetery (north of the main entrance, close to Grove St.), by Ladder 3 and the Goodwill Fire Company ladder truck from Muhlenberg Township.

Police and fire personnel shall participate in a joint casket honor guard for both viewings. This will be coordinated between FOP and IAFF representatives. Class A uniforms are required.

At the request of the family, two fire personnel shall serve as pall bearers. Class A uniforms are required.

Personnel on-duty Tuesday night or Wednesday morning may attend the viewing with the permission of the duty chiefs, who will coordinate the movement of apparatus to and from the funeral home. Attending personnel shall wear the Class B Duty Uniform (long-sleeve shirt with tie) with black mourning badge cover.
