Shortly after 2200 hrs, Engine Companies 11, 3, 1, Ladder 1, Tower 1, Rescue 1, Medic 602, Engine 13 safety and Cars 5 and 7 were sent to the rear of 526 North Front street for several calls reporting a garage on fire. Engine 11 arrived and reported a garage heavily involved threatening 2 exposure garages.

Engine 11 crew stretched a 2 1/2 Line down an alley, members of Engine 3 and Ladder 1 assisted. Fire was attacked directly. The bulk of the fire was contained shortly after the line was charged with an hour of overhaul afterwards. The fire marshal responded for the investigation. Crews were in quarters before midnight.
