At 0117 hrs box 15 was struck for 4th and Bingaman Sts with an address of the 400 blk So. 5th street in the rear, less than 1/2 block from Engine 5's station. Engine 5 arrived moments later and reported a working fire. Crews ran a 1"3/4 line through the dwelling to the second floor rear. Tower 1 laddered the building from 5th street. The fire was under control quickly but required some extensive overhaul to the rear enclosed and open porch roofs. Engines 5, 1, 14, 13 Safety, T-1. L-1, R-1, M603, C-2 and C-8, were on the assignment. No reported injuries and the crews were returning shortly after 0230hrs. The FM arrived and is investigating.
