Car 4 arrived and reported 2 garages, one heavily involved. Engine 8 crew advanced a handline after opening the overhead door. Contents of the garage were minimal but fire got into the roof. After opening up the exposure firefighters found only minor extension and heavy smoke. The fire was knocked down in about 5 minutes. Car 4 put the incident under control at 11:33.
