City of Reading Firefighter David Witmoyer past ed away on June 6, 2007. The fire department made the announcement at around 13:00hrs.
Dave is remembered as an experienced firefighter to his brother firefighters both in the Reading Pa Fire Department as well as in the municipalities surrounding the Mohnton Fire Company where Dave was a member for many years, serving in various positions in the company.
Dave was also known for his devotion to his family and worked hard to provide for them. Although he worked hard he also liked to take time off to relax with his family and friends. He was described as an avid fisherman and loved to bowl.
We're sure that those that knew Dave best have many other fond memories of him. We invite all those to write in to our Memorial Guestbook that we set up to express our condolences.
