Communications notified Car 3 early Saturday morning that Tower 1 was being requested for operations in Birdsboro Borough. The town is located about 20 minutes south east of Reading. Companies there had been battling a multi alarm apartment building fire. The fire was orginally dispatched around 0200 hrs, and was reported with an individual trapped in the building.
Tower 1, along with Car's 6 & 22 responded to 213 North Furnace street and found a 3 story building with multiple ladder companies in operation. The tower set-up on the A/D corner of the building and assisted with operations. The company returned to quarters shortly after 0700.

Special Note: The victim was succesfully removed from the building by firefighters, however she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries a few days later.
