Shortly after 1530 a rescue assignment was sent to the 1500 block of Palm Street. Companies found a mini-van driven partially through a rear wall in the southern end of the block. No injuries were reported, the Rescue co. used lumber to shore the property. E9, L3, R1, M601, C4

Shortly after placing a fire under control at 513 So. 17th Street, Car 5 was advised by Communications that they were receiving multiple calls for another structure.

Crews checking the 1st floor found a small fire at the top of the basement steps, A pw can was used to extinguish that fire. The 2nd & 3rd floors had several small fires burning in various locations.

One person was treated by paramedics after a fire that involved a kitchen in a NorthEast Home. Firefighters had the blaze under control within 20 minutes.

Just after 02:00 this morning, Engine 3, Ladder 1 and Car 3 were dispatched to an Automatic Fire Alarm at the Speckled Hen Restaurant at 30 So. 4th Street. Arriving on location, Engine 3 noted police activity in the block and then reported a car into the front of the restaurant.

Companies encountered a heavy volume of fire on the second floor with extension into the 3rd floor. A second line was stretched while the ladder company headed for the roof. Command asked for a 2nd ladder company to assist in roof operations.

Upon arrival a 2 1/2" was stretched into a rear alley behind 13's previous station. A small garage to the rear of 221 south 10th street was found to be fully involved directly across from a 2 story warehouse.
