Engine 11, Rescue, Medic 604, Car 7

Around 2230 hrs, after receiving a single phone call, communications tapped a box for the 500 block of north 8th Street. First arriving Engine 8 initially observed no fire upon arrival, after entry to the high side dwelling crews found fire on the second floor throughout a rear bedroom and bathroom. 2 lines were stretched, with crews operating on the 2nd and 3rd floors. On the B exposure side several areas had to be opened and exposed after it was discovered the ceiling was common over both properties. Companies were on scene for approximately 2 hours with extensive overhaul. The F.M.'s office is investigating.
