On July 7th as the D Platoon was coming on duty, Box 612 came in at 17:57 reporting a garage on fire to the rear of 729 N. 12th St. On the box were E9, E1, E13, L3, R2 (R1), E11 (safety), Medic 601, Cars 4 & 9. While units were enroute, Medic 603 was in the area and reported they had heavy smoke and a fully involved garage.
