Tower 1, Rescue 1, Medic 601 and Car 7 were dispatched?to Box 237at?1132 hours. Engine 13 arrived with a smoke condition throughout a very large dwelling built on the side of Mt Penn.

Through investigation in the basement of the property, the furnace was found to have heated so extensively it had burned through most of the exterior insulation and some adjacent pipe insulation. Crews had to utilize several ventilation fans to remove the smoke from the?dwelling. Companies were on scene for approximately 1 hour. There were no injuries and no estimate of damages were given.?
