The assignment was dispatched to the location noted for a reported vehicle fire. Engine 3 arrived to find a passenger vehicle in the parking area with a well-involved engine compartment fire. The engine company stretched a 1 3/4" hand line and extinguished the fire. There was no damage to any surrounding vehicles or property. Companies were out approximately 30 minutes.

1355 Hours/ 1300 Block of Orchard Rd/ C Platoon-The rescue assignment was sent to the 1300 block of Orchard Rd for a male impaled on a fence. Medic 3 was in the area and quickly arrived on scene, confirmed the report, and started ALS treatment of the patient.
