0126 Hours/ 915 N 5th Street/ Box 0703/ A Platoon-

The box was transmitted for 915 N 5th Street for smoke in the basement. E7 arrived on scene and saw smoke coming from 911 N 5th Street. E7 reported the updated address and declared a working fire. Crews found fire venting out a first floor window in the baker's alley, with fire extension into the 2nd floor. Crews also found heavy fire amongst hoarding conditions in the basement. The row home had been renovated into an apartment type structure which also added challenges to the firefighting efforts. A total of 4 hand lines were stretched and in operation and primary and secondary searches turned out negative. At 0151 hours Car 2 requested a second alarm for more manpower. The fire was placed under control with extensive overhaul at 0225 hours. The OFM was called to investigate the fire and no injuries were reported.
