Congratulations to Robert Stichter on his promotion to Lieutenant Fire Prevention. Bob began with the department on August 10th, 1992. After completing fire training, FF Stichter was assigned to the A platoon as a jumper.

Congratulations on the following promotions per personnel directive 2015-39Fire Marshal Larry Moyer will be promoted to 2nd Deputy Chief of the D platoon. Chief Moyer was hired in February of 1995. After the fire academy, Larry was assigned to the A platoon as a jumper firefighter.
The Reading Firefighters 2015 toy drive campaign was a great success with a total of $4,500 raised for the charity. The toy drive consisted a t-shirt sale through Weikel's Sportswear, along with donations from several social organizations.
