The 13th annual Battle of the Badges Hockey Game was held on Sunday, February 24th at the Santander Arena. The game pits firefighters & police officers from Reading against Fire & Police Officers from Allentown.

Congratulations to Firefighter Scott Sayers on retiring after 38 years of combined service in the City of Reading.Scott joined the Rainbow Fire Company back in 1981 as a volunteer firefighter. Scott would move on to get hired on April 18th, 1994.

For the 3rd straight year, the Reading Fire & Police Department's will take on the Fire & Police from Allentown during the 14th annual Battle of the Badge in Reading. The game will be held on February 24th at 1230 before the regular scheduled Royals game.
